OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

Colorado Springs - Ghost Town

Our last stop in Colorado Springs, before our barbeque dinner, was a old west town set up in an old railroad station. It housed a main street, with shops along the walls filled with actual items from the 1800s.

25 shots for 50 cents provided everyone a few turns.

I have seen a two headed cow stuffed in an old west town in SD, so this isn't the only one. I laughed at the sign that gives credit to the farmer that owned the farm where it was born.

At the end, we got to pan for gold. It was the end of the day and the sign said 18 small fools golds were placed in each morning. Our party found five total, but Bella found two of the five!
