OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

Tidbits of the Week

The days have been so busy that the last week is almost a blur -

What I can't ignore was our 4th of July celebration. These are Gabriel's friends from his church internship program in Colorado. They all flew out for Gabriel and Alayna's wedding. They enjoyed a few hours on the morning of the 4th shooting guns with JD.

Along with the guys flew Shannon, a sweet friend that we have enjoyed having as well.

Alei, Shannon and Alayna definitely won the most spirited outfit award for the 4th.

We had a full house, which is what we truly enjoy.

Tonight was the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. It went very well and I have great hopes that all three of my little guys will walk down the aisle as planned!

The hero of the night was our friend, Tonya; she manned the children table during the rehearsal dinner. It was a long wait for a table of 3-5 year olds wanting their chicken tenders!

While I hope to get more pictures of more relatives, I need to take this opportunity to introduce Uncle Greg - who is also now known as the cat whisperer. While there were people everywhere, the cats seemed drawn to him. (He appears to feel the same about them.)
