OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

Faithful

The Lord is faithful to provide what we need when we need it. This has proven the case in HUGE ways in our lives, but also sometimes in smaller ways that are meant to encourage us on our journey through life. Recently, an old friend has made an entrance back into my life and it is very encouraging to hear that she has walked exactly through one of the struggles we are dealing with right now.

As an extra bonus, she has a precious grand-baby that we all got to love on.

Selah and Bella were pretty impressed with the baby and were very gentle with her.

The old saying that we can't judge someone unless we have walked in their shoes is so very accurate. If nothing else, the Lord is building compassion in me for people that struggle in life.
