OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

Blessed Sunday

This wood burning stove is my husband's latest claim to fame; it is ready to go other than the stone on the wall and two floors of chimney. We can begin using it before the stone is installed, and it will be none too soon, as our non-Geothermal heat is not working quite right. (I am trying to avoid fixing it so that we can focus on paying for our trip to Ethiopia.)

My Sunday consisted of staying home with small, snotty-noses. I also tackled lots of laundry -

Corn-rowed two little girl's hair (check out those darling wet curls) -

Watched children play and learn -

And thankfully, enjoyed lots of smiling and laughing -

Hope you had a blessed Sunday as well!
