The girls did really well on the flight to Istanbul; we are really surprised how happy they are considering they got very little sleep last night. Selah was sleeping on the plane, but kept twisting and falling off the seat. I continually jerked awake to keep her on the chair. Bella slept well sitting perfectly up, but didn't sleep long enough.
Our Turkey experience is limited to the airport; we were afraid to head out into town and run out of time getting back into security. I bought the girls a large chicken tender and fry at Burger King for a nice total of $12; the four "adults" each got a piece of pizza and drink for $50! Not a five star dining experience.
We are several hours away from beginning our 11 hour flight into D.C.; just praying that the girls sleep a healthy portion of it.
Hey Guys, it's Rebecca! We had such a great time with your fam in ET. Hope you're home safe and sound by now. Praying the girls transition well and no jet-lag. Other than being up at 3:30am, we're all doing well:)
ReplyDeleteSo excited that you are almost home! We leave for Philly Sunday afternoon, but know we are praying you home! Praises for sleeping girls on the plane!
