OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

End of July

Our big news is that Moriah came home Monday night - she successfully completed the summer program at Bible college and went on a week trip to Mexico. She got in late, so the kids didn't see her until the next morning which was "doubley" exciting since it was Julia and Elijah's birthday!

Everyone but Alyssa was home early in the day, so we did presents in the morning.

Then we did birthday dinner and cake in the evening; Julia wanted a pink cake and Elijah opted for his usual dirt cake.

I'm still putting hours in at the school table and running back and forth between the printer.

The kids seem to enjoy playing two feet away from me so much more than downstairs in the playroom, which helps my concentration immensely.

The garage is flying along; they prepared the floor the last few days.

Then they prepped to pour the concrete floor, which is going in today.
