OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

Goodbye Super Cold - Don't Come Back!

We are all pretty thrilled the snow is melting. The last two weeks have been the coldest I have ever remembered in Virginia, and we did it all with a broken heat pump. The time outside in the snow got old as well, but the new doggie, Montana, and the baby goats all needed attention. I think I have successfully gotten all animal waters on heat bases or buckets so they won't freeze, as well as safe heat lamps for the chickens and baby goats. I will be even more ready next round as the teenage goats have sweaters ordered, (they may be spoiled, but they shake in the cold!)

Now it is time for me to shift focus to our trip to Florida, we leave this weekend.
