OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

Pool Deck

JD is tackling building a pool deck at the one end of the pool. I requested one large enough for a few chairs - he is building it way bigger and better than I requested.

He had some help digging out the footers - of course the county required them to be dug half way to China and a permit and inspections to prove it.

The big holes get covered for rain and pumped out after rain -

Elijah is JD's right hand man; he is learning a lot and enjoying working alongside his dad. (His payment isn't hurting his motivation either.)

The base of the deck is going in as of yesterday.

Here's my seating area in the screened in porch that we are enjoying in warm weather. I'd like to have some friends come sit out here with me if we can get past this quarantine period!
