OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

State Park Visit

We went to Deception Pass State Park today. Deception Pass was named because the water looks calm enough to swim across, but when you are up on the bridge looking down, you can see the currents going many ways down the middle.

Nathan wanted to head on up, so we compromised with a partial climb. 



Elijah spotted an otter head poke out of the water. 


We rushed down the beach to try to see him, and he climbed up on a rock to eat a crab. 



Isn't he cute? When he finished the crab, he jumped into the water, but then returned with a second crab and ate it. 


He didn't mind us watching at all.
