OUR PLANS MULTIPLIED

In the beginning, JD adamantly only wanted two children. I thought that four would be perfect. Once we caught God's vision of putting orphans into families, our plan was multiplied by God. We are currently blessed with 12 children; five biological, six adopted and one more waiting in Ethiopia. Our first adoption was from the U.S., the next three were from Liberia, West Africa, and our last two were from Ethiopia. We are supporting our 12th child in Ethiopia after her adoption could not pass court.

South With the Family

We are having a great time in Charleston, SC. The drive went very well and the house we rented is perfect for the week. We hit Olive Garden last night for the wedding rehearsal dinner and a Mexican restaurant today for our nephew's college graduation. Gabriel and Alei hit the beach today for their first surfing lesson and the rest of us will start our days at the beach on Monday after tomorrow's wedding, primarily because we don't want to trash Tori and Julia's hair until the wedding.

I didn't think to pack the cord to upload pictures, but I think I'll try to pick one up tonight.

This is truly a long-overdue vacation for us, so I'm thankful it is going so well.
